How Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia is Prepared
Member's Mark Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia are all-natural and raised on a fish farm. In order to preserve their freshness, the tilapia are deboned and flash-frozen within only a few hours of being harvested. The entire fillets are then encrusted with a crunchy breading full of cheesy Parmesan flavor. All you have to do at home is bake them in your oven or deep fry them for an even crispier texture.
More than One Way to Serve
Breaded tilapia tastes great with a pasta salad, fresh garden salad or even a roasted vegetable medley. It’s also easy to create a delicious fish taco by wrapping a few chunks of the fillet in a tortilla and adding toppings like fresh cabbage. Use them to make fish sandwiches. Place a fillet on a hamburger bun with a tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise.
Quantity in Each Bag
The number of fillets will vary as the bags are packed by weight instead of by the number of pieces. Each bag should contain somewhere between eight to ten breaded fish fillets, but it will depend on the size and thickness of each fillet. Every bag weighs 40 ounces.
Tilapia also has a low-fat content. Due to the breading on these tilapia fillets, Member's Mark Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia are not gluten free, as the breading contains wheat flour.
