Where Is It From?
Member's Mark ASOLO-PROSECCO is a sparkling white wine that originates in the prestigious Asolo appellation of Italy. This white wine is made from the finest quality grapes harvested from ancient vineyards on the hills that border the medieval town of Asolo. The vineyards receive excellent sun exposure, are in a mild temperature climate and grow in a fertile soil blend to add significant character to the grapes.
How Does It Taste?
Member's Mark ASOLO-PROSECCO is a sparkling wine that features a persistent foam, an elegant bouquet and an aroma of fruity fragrance. This combination leads to a well balanced, fresh feel on the palate due in part from the Asolo Prosecco's low residual sugar. This premium sparkling wine is able to be served with a broad array of cuisines or simply as an aperitif. That is to say, an alcoholic beverage consumed before a meal to stimulate the appetite.
Enjoy with Brunch
This sparkling white wine offers an ideal beverage with any brunch. Pair the drink with oysters and other seafood dishes or relish the flavors of the wine when paired with dessert. Whatever the occasion, this sparkling wine offers a delicious beverage option for any adult.
What Are Appellations?
Here's a little wine knowledge for you to spout the next time you enjoy this delicious sparkling wine with friends or family. Appellations are legally defined, geographical indications that define where the grapes of a wine are grown. And wines aren't typically the only thing to be defined by appellations as other types of food and beverages are known to have appellations as well. In order for a wine bottle to feature the name of a specific appellation, the grapes must be grown in the specific geographical location and also must comply with a variety of other requirements held by the appellation: such as the type of grapes grown, alcohol level, the maximum yield of grapes, etc.
