How Do I Cook Frozen Tuna Steaks?
Thaw: Completely remove frozen tuna steaks from vacuum pouches and thaw in the refrigerator before use (approx. 8-12 hours). Once thawed, cook within 24 hours.
Pan Sear: Preheat nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil pan and sear seasoned or marinated tuna steaks until desired doneness—about 2-3 minutes per side for rate to medium rare.
Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Grill the seasoned or marinated tuna steaks to desired doneness—about 2-3 minutes per side for rare to medium rare.
